My pronouns are he/him - I'm a transmasculine, queer, and autistic twenty-something year old from Poland. And I'm also a constant work in progress - like this website!

That white borzoi / weird dog / wolf-ish creature is my fursona! Or, an OC that I use to represent myself? It's a sona character of some sort, anyway.

About the site
The name
"
Alpha Centauri is a triple star system in the southern constellation of Centaurus. It consists of three stars: Rigil Kentaurus (Alpha Centauri A), Toliman (B) and Proxima Centauri (C). Proxima Centauri is also the closest star to the Sun at 4.2465 light-years.
Alpha Centauri A and B are Sun-like stars, and together they form the binary star system Alpha Centauri AB.
To the naked eye, the two main components appear to be a single star.
It is the brightest star in the constellation and the third-brightest in the night sky, outshone only by Sirius and Canopus."
The above extract from Wikipedia was the introduction on my site's homepage - back when it was more space-themed.
The name "Alpha Centauri", and the index title "We can run away together!" are a reference to the book and TV series Good Omens, which was very dear to me for a long time.
Even though the aesthetic of the site doesn't really fit the name anymore I'm still keeping it as is, it's just another personal touch :)
Current site theme
For the longer half of the site's lifespan now, the main aesthetic is inspired by the game Rain World. I'll be honest, I don't have a solid reason why I pivoted so hard into this specific Look. I just think the game's visuals (and the whole game overall) are beautiful and I got Really inspired to try out something new :)
And now, this patchwork of my interests blended into a website of my own really feels like home.
